Usually I don’t write reviewsThey don’t know how to treat customersNever coming back worst customer serviceI was paying for my food as a thanks I gave 3 dollars tip she is like just 3 dollarsI wasn’t even done with paying I was about to tip normally but I gave cash as thanksAnd manager instead of asking apologize she sad that’s how they make money.Worst place stay away!!!!!!

The building itself has a nice ambiance and is well arranged. The customer service was horrible, we had a young Asian waitress who was extremely rude and seemed as if she didn’t wanna be bothered with us, our cook however was friendly but the food was made terribly and he just threw it on our plates like slobs he gave us so much rice or filled the entire plate and just threw everything on top which disgusted me. I’ve never experienced such terrible hibachi. The rice was disgusting mushy and had no flavor. I would never go back! Then at the end when it was time to pay they took 20 minutes to bring our change and when we asked they yelled hold on. I am a person who typically tips extremely well. I wanted all of my honestly, we left most of the food. I would not recommend to anyone and I most definitely will not return.

I came here for my birthday and overall it was a great experience. Drank some hot sake and ate some awesome sushi. Definitely fresh.

We have been there twice now and both times were phenomenal. They are super friendly and the customer service is top notch. They are a bit pricey but for the portion sizes and the quality, it’s well worth it. Super excited to try more items on their menu and I highly recommend Watami!
