Afternoon Tea Broome Park - Canterbury

They did seat us at the bar, which was an improvement, but our experience took a turn for the worse when my daughter ordered a drink. The waitress informed us she had gone out to get a pelt juice in a medium size and never returned. Additionally, we were not provided with a knife for our meal, and the portion of cake was significantly larger than expected for a tabletop booking of five people. To top it off, we ended up paying £30 more than what was advertised on their website. The service was poor overall, and the staff seemed unhappy. It was noticeable that the manager was doing tasks that should have been handled by the staff. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t consider returning to this restaurant.

The afternoon was lovely! My only critique is that the sandwich fillings were quite minimal. If someone were blind, I doubt they would be able to taste much of what they were eating, except for the smoked salmon and cheese. I purchased a Wowcher, though I’m not sure it made a difference. Overall, everything was beautiful!
