Cannon's Chophouse - Canonsburg

Last night was Date Night with my wife Rachel and let me tell you it was one of the best in the awhile. We had a great visit and incredible service! The fantastic dynamic duo of Brian and Jesse made our first visit unpredictable here. I had an amazing old fashion with Wigle Rye, which was just perfect for the meal. My wife, of course, stuck with her normal glass of wine. Hot n crispy shrimp was first...with (my favorite) jalapeno mango salsa.l for diving. Let me say they were INCREDIBLE! The crispy and spicy wort on them was such a great combination for shrimps to me and that salsa finished them. Lamb slide second. Okay, I'm here from my comfort zone and my wife was still out... but at least I will try something. Never had made a lamb slider and especially correct. I loved her personally. I wouldn't get myself every day, but they were good! Esp with the salsa I had left from the shrimps. I love it's like building your own style. You put the toppings on the side so you can add what you want. Great idea! Baked green tomatoes last... for the apps that is. I don't like tomatoes, but I never had a fried green tomatoes. It was really good. That was Rachel's favorite. He said this is one of their best sellers. So if you like roasted green tomatoes, I suggest you try them out. So for dinner! Haha, we ate a lot, but not everything! I'm sure I ended my main course. My wife... not so much haha. I had a fillet that was perfected and just incredibly cooked. The sailor on the steak was delicious along with the spices on the steak. My mouth is pouring over it now. With potatoes and one of the best gumbos I've ever had. I was very happy! This will be my steak. That's safe. The woman had Chicken Alfredo that I would set up against any Italian restaurant and she loved her ranch! Thank God! Her salad said she was really good esp bc the ranch.

Showed an hour before closing, and was not rushed to order after sitting. Waitstaff was friendly and not intrusive. Beautiful dimming lighting and large open windows to the street. The food was made good and the prices indicated were worth. Never felt rushed or invaded, although it was almost closing time.

Steak was excellent! Provides juicy, tasteful with a melt-in-your-mouth quality. Perfectly cooked. No need for steak sauce; every bite is tasty on its own.

Amazing place, food was delicious and happy hour is great! 10/10 would eat here again.

Delicious food. Slow service. The server was very nice. Clean restaurant!
