Broome Meadow Bakes - Cannock Chase

Like some others, I just read the 1* review and must say what I think about bmb. beautiful and picturesque little house. I have visited a few times with various of my friends and relatives and always had nice eating, drinks and cake. Today I was with my sister, neohew friend service was fast, efficient and our kartoffels were right. I brought a trifle home that I just ate and it was amazing and an eclair for another of my sisters who enjoyed them. the prices are right, and as far as I am concerned, their food safety hygiene is brilliant to make a comparison. hair nets are worn for a start and work on a place that serves food itself, I know that when working in the kitchen and serving to eat hair nets should always be worn. So I recommend broome meadow bakes, they will not be dissappointed.

We were here for breakfast, lunch and coffee and cake, this place is fab! Eating is great and very good value! the staff is friendly, helpful and efficient! the place itself is warm, welcoming and above all clean! it is a small hidden gem

This is the second time that we had the afternoon teasers, they are absolutely beautiful £10 per head and eat as much as they ever want. beautiful homemade cakes, sandwiches with the crusts off, (as they should) quiche, and a gentleman...night tea with scotch eggs pork cake, cheese, meat, cracker, pickles the amount. a fixed for 20 pounds! and if you don't have it, the cakes are absolutely beautiful!

We visited here yesterday it looked homely and inviting. We snagged a table and proceeded to look at the menu. We decided what we wanted and went to order. We were told by staff that you can't order hot food after 3 o'clock. It was...3.02. I understand there has to be a cut off time but for 2 minutes difference well they're not very accommodating. And I checked on all the menu's and no times are specified anywhere. On the plus side their bread pudding is delicious.

Popped in for a coffee and a natter and had the most lovely coffee! Latte coffee well priced and way better than Costa down the way. Good selection of home made cakes and bakes, savoury selections, breakfasts and meals all well priced and look amazing!...Pop in and support a lovely local coffee shop rather than a chain of money makers!
