The Wild Spice - Canberra

This is now my favourite Indian restaurant!! The special dahl is amazing. Don 't get the banquet unless you have 'aussie ' tongues, choose from the menu. So much choice and really tasty and as hot as you want. The staff are fantastic, the decor beautiful and the atmosphere is not noisy therefore conversations are able to be peaceful where you don 't have to yell at your companions.

Fantastic Indian food pumpkin goathi was the standout flavoursome and tasty. Garlic Naan was so good. The sauce for the beef korma was rich in flavour but the beef was so dry and tough. The plain rice was really colourful and yummy too. The bhindi aloo was nice too. The vegetarian dishes were a standout here. Service was good. Toilets are clean. Free street parking can be found nearby.

Had dinner here on a quiet Wed night. Delicious food, good service and BYO wine (though at $5 corkage per person it might be cheaper to check out their wine list). Hint for young players a half serve for the Tandoori chicken will be plenty!

This was one of the best experiences of Indian cuisine I have experienced in Canberra and Sydney. I Recommend this to anyone who has a love for authentic Indian dishes.

Reasonable prices and great food. The Himalayan Nepali food adds an extra element compared with the standard Indian menu.
