Hellenic Club in the City - Canberra

We had dinner here and found eating a little expensive for a club, although if we had disturbed, it would have been cheaper to join. I ordered a halloumi gyros that came with chips. the halloumi came with a layer of pesto that was not mentioned on the menu and really did not go. I came to the waitress, but didn't want to wait for a meal, so I scratched most pesto, but it still influenced the halloumi. there was no answer from the waitress or management. another thing was that there is a back door where people smoke and a cold, stinking air bubble comes when people opened this door.

We had a quick lunch with some older friends at Filos Taverna. The name is the best part, but unfortunately you need a $5 membership to dine there. Luckily, we were able to say we had a friend who was a member so we could get in. We ended up getting a special deal on a spicy chicken con pollo pizza, which was delicious. The only downside was that we had to ask a separate drinks waiter for our beverages, as the regular waitstaff didn't take drink orders. Overall, it was a great meal and a nice experience at the club.

This club is on the pricier side and the food was a mixed bag - some dishes were good and some were not so great. It's a great spot for families and has a modern, but unique Greek atmosphere.

The club offers a wide range of restaurants to choose from. The steak, shrimp, fish, and veal were all delicious, tender, and reasonably priced. It's a great option for families, with a children's play area located next to the dining area. The service was quick and efficient. Prepayment for meals at busy times is a fairer option, especially for large groups.

A great place very busy and quite good price wise The tables and seating areas are quite spacious We’ve been twice in the last few weeks and lovely food was spoilt by only been served Lukewarm both the meat and veggies.
