El Greeyo Roastery Coffee Shop

Perhaps its the vivid melon colour of the walls, funky furniture, upstairs attic feel where I sit, the surrounding brilliant tones and textures of lush artworks on the walls or the Cuban musical vibes in the background, the freshly onsite ground and brewed coffee or the misty Woodstock mountain view through panoramic windows...but ElGreeyo is becoming like my home from home office and writing hideout! Great venue for potential poetry and music gigs or private parties...just sayin' :

Best secret in Cape Tow..authentic...friendly...and the Best coffee in town...dont matter where I am i drive here to get my fix...from real Cuban owners..Kenia and Daniel.....

I enjoyed the most amazing lunch today at El Greeyo and I will definitely be returning. Being vegan I often have difficulty while eating out as most restaurants don't cater for my diet, at El Greeyo a special meal was prepared for my mom and myself which was absolutely divine. Added to the that, this was the first establishment I've been to that decided it was time they change their menu to specifically cater for vegetarians and vegans. The atmosphere was welcoming, food was superb, service fantastic and prices affordable. I was blown away! Thank you El Greeyo!
