Verde Brewing Company - Camp Verde

Verde Brewing is our favorite stop when we're heading up the hill from Phoenix. They have excellent beer, delicious food, and the friendliest customer service!

We hope we just caught this place on a bad day. It came highly recommended, and since we were traveling north, we decided to give it a try. I ordered the roast beef sandwich, while my husband went for the meatball. Unfortunately, the sandwiches arrived on cheap hot dog buns. My roast beef was an unappetizing gray, and the meatballs were lacking in flavor. To make matters worse, my sandwich was topped with a lukewarm slice of Swiss cheese and a questionable sauce. I couldn't finish it, but at least the kettle chips were enjoyable. My husband polished off his sandwich but later experienced the worst food poisoning he’s ever had. Not the ideal start to our vacation. On a positive note, the staff was prompt and friendly, and the beer was good. However, I would recommend steering clear of their food. I’m giving it 2 stars instead of one, solely because the beer was enjoyable and that seems to be their specialty.

Excellent service and delicious food! Our group of 15 visited after a football game, and our server was fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant!
