The dining experience was exceptional and the staff treated us like family. We traveled from Springfield and were amazed by the quality. The owners were present to ensure everything was perfect and our server Jenny was fantastic! I will definitely return, despite the 4-hour drive, it is definitely worth it.

I recently visited Mons in the City and had a fantastic experience. The entire team of employees are huge Royals fans, which is great to see. They were some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered in the restaurant industry. The portion sizes were generous – my friend Aaron even needed a to-go box. Our server, Teresa, was amazing and the owner, who we believe was the woman sitting opposite us, was very nice and engaging. I loved the BBQ sauce so much that I bought some to take home and improve my cooking skills. If you're looking for a great BBQ joint with friendly staff, this is the place to go. I highly recommend Mons in the City and will definitely be returning in the future. If you ever make it to Wisconsin Dells, be sure to visit and mention my name for excellent service.
