Barnacle Bill's - Cambridge

Slow service never returned to ask if we needed anything. Never got the bill had to go to the front cash and figure out what we had, so we could pay. The menu said our fish was served with bread and coleslaw we never saw either of those. The menu said I could have salad instead of fries and did not mention an additional charge but we got charged for the salad. Totally not worth the money or the aggravation.

Enjoyed an unexpected meal after a show at the theatre across the street. Nice atmosphere, excellent portions and really good service. A great spot to enjoy a meal at a reasonable price with great friends! See you again soon.

We went tonight for supper.. was looking forward to a clubhouse and fries.,only to find out that the club doesn't come with fries.. $14.25 for just a club, very disappointed!! Waitress didn't seem to listen as she asked if hubby n son wanted newfie fries they said yes,but when they received their fish n chips, it was missing the dressing and gravy. Ordered apple juice for my daughter, she brought orange... maybe a note pad would help remember the order correctly.. however food was tasty and hott..

We went with some friends and all agreed afterwards that we would not recommend this place to anyone. Waitresses were spacey with one of them rolling her eyes at us when we asked for some jam. The french toast, pancakes, and halibut were all bland. Tartar sauce came in packets. Prices were all over the place. With my friends 8 funnel fries being $6.25. And the place itself was not the cleanest.

Great food, horrible service. Our waitress acting like she hated her job. Another girl with blonde hair came up to us after ordering and basically asked us if we could afford 4 halibut dinners. Saying you know those dinners you ordered are $40 each . I know I may not look like I can afford it, but nevertheless you never ask a customer that question. I don 't think we will be going back here again.
