Viridian - Calumet-Norvelt

By far my favorite place to go for an amazing meal in all of the DC area. Excellent, gourmet, creative cuisines (plus all the classics every higher end restaurant should serve). Amazing service as well.

What an amazing place. I've taken all my friends and out of town visitors there and everyone has loved it. It's not for everyone, you have to be able to appreciate courageously prepared dishes like the unforgettable tartare duet: beef and ahi tuna (the beef tartare complete with a tiny raw egg on top) one of the best I've ever had. It's amazing a must for anyone in Washington.

Third time and it keeps getting worse. Very pretty restaurant with terrible food and so so service. Just plain feel ripped off for the third time. Overpriced wine by the glass to boot. No reason to return, ever.
