Kind staff, cosey place and nice atmosphaire but long waiting time on everything including payment. Acceptable food but nothing special compared to high price.
Amazing.it is now my favorite restaurant in DC. Everything was delicious and portions were generous. The sea bass was an incredible blend of favors and textures. The carrots were tender and delicious and the chocolate/rhubarb dessert was out of this world. Just like with the sea bass the combo of favors and textures was wonderful. The two of us shared it with two scoops of vanilla ice cream which seemed to complement it.
The service was excellent, but I found the food to be somewhat overpriced. I appreciated the variety of different rooms, which offer a nice range of options. However, I wouldn't recommend sitting at the tables near the walls, as you might encounter some unexpected visitors walking around your table.
The seared scallops were out of this world delicious and the onion tart starter was like eating French onion soup as a tart-scrumptious!
