Every time we're in Calgary we try to hit Trung Nguyen's for our satay sub fix. I always get the chicken satay and Cherie gets the beef satay. I've tried other Vietnamese subs and they don't compare. The right amount of spice, nice crispy bun and crisp veggies. If you want a little extra spice, keeps the hot peppers. The owners are super friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Why not? They make fantastic subs!

We arrived at around 2:30pm and shared a chicken satay sub. Greeted serviced by a very friendly gentleman. Bread was nice and warm, soft fresh; chicken fillings just perfect. When we left, both lady gentleman asked how it was, then proceeded with a friendly good bye. We've there many times before and we will be back for many more as long as they are there. Sub was $7.00. Just be advised, cash only and limited seating.

If you like Vietnamese subs, this is one of our favourites. Hidden in the corner of the mall closest to the 3rd Ave S.E. entrance , this tiny shop has great service, and really good subs. Bread is crunchy and soft, makes all the difference! Satay chicken done really nice. Melted cheese, nice satay sauce. Worth the trip.
