Our service was excellent. very attentive and we received what we ordered without problems. I agree that weep bottles and rack must be dusted. I had the worton suppe that was very disappointing. the nice was cooked hard, the wintons were very hard and...reworked and broth favor was just ok. my man had the rice noodle suppe and it was perfect. the restaurant was clean and beautiful music. we will probably not return as there are better pho restaurants nearby.
A great little place. eating is always good, and the staff is so friendly. 10/10 would recommend
We had a maintenance coupon and wanted to try this place. the first thing that the waitress said was that the voucher would not be honored as it was received by mistakes and that the owner was no longer part of this scheme. no problem. it would have been honest to put a sign on the door to this effect. some people may want to go elsewhere, others (like us) may decide to stay. we shared the fried dumplings that were in order with a dipping sauce that had no imagination. we had not finished our appetizers when my vermicelli garnelen, Satay-Rind/Hähnchen arrived. I've hurried a little. garnel and bark meat were good, but huh was dry (unsafe if it had been fresh). some salat with a classic Vietnamese dressing and vermicelli were ok. my wife had the chicken sweet noodle soup (the kind of a pho). it was served extremely hot, so it had to wait until it cools down. fresh basilikum served as a guide. I tried the broth that was far from rich and very bland. decor is functional, good background music (60’s,) reasonable service. this restaurant is located in a strip-mall, so enough free parking. live with a mix of people asian origin and others. this restaurant also offers a take-out service. the weinregal could use a good dusting (you can assume that wein bottles should have some dust on it, but the same does not apply to the weinregal). we are happy to have visited vietnam at several locations and most food in cities and villages was much better than here. there are other Vietnamese restaurants in calgary that offer a better quality. try them because I can't recommend this place.
Pho Vy is so consistent with their service and quality of food. I love their spring rolls with vermicelli noodles. Super quick and hot and fresh! This is your ideal local neighbourhood family run restaurant that’s run right. Great prices great food great service
