Pho Anh Huyen Noodle House - Calgary

I ordered the always popular beef pho cute soup, my favourite in all Vietnamese restaurants. but this time was a disappointment. first the bark was not cut thin. second, the bark was not fresh with the funny funny funny taste when the bark is not fresh...(You know what I mean when they have an old uncooked bark in the refrigerator and they can smell it when they put their nose on it). I didn't order anything else. my friend ordered the dry noodle with spring rolls and he ate only half. I didn't have to ask why.

As usual, the restaurant was busy and requires that they come to lunch before lunch. the owner is waiting tables with a big smile. Salad rolls are the best in the city and the dishes are varied, a good size smaller bowls if they. wish them) and delicious whether it pho or noodle!

I have tried most of the items on their menu. The curry soap is my comfort food. I go there as soon as I get into town from my trips. Service is good and friendly.

Went in to have soup for lunch today ... The server suggested the seafood such a little soup said it was very well known for this restaurant so I decided to have it the overall taste was very good however I did not like the...noodles that came in the soup and it was mostly full of the fake imitation crab meat rather then a real seafood as only shrimps and probably maybe couple pieces of squid. The taste was super good though! Highly recommended but make sure you ask for the kind noodles the soup comes with. I didn't eat them they were a tad skinnier then a spaghetti noodle!! Cheers

Food is always hot and fresh and the staff is very friendly, it's a pretty small place but they do take out which is great. The price is about the same as fast food and much healthier.
