Model Milk - Calgary

I took the wife here for her birthday on the advice of friends and it did not disappoint. We sat outside despite the heat but had an umbrella. The table was smallish but it worked. The service was attentive and polite. The dishes were smaller servings but really tasty and great for sharing. I hope they can keep it up, as would like to go again.

I 'm usually annoyed by superlatives, but last night 's dinner at Model Milk is one of the better meals I 've had in a very long time. The food was perfect (do try the steak tartare , the service attentive, but not over-bearing (thanks Michael! . Truly a feast, fomr all perspectives. Definitely on my return list next time I 'm in Calgary.

This is our favorite place that we have found in Calgary so far. The decor and ambiance is great and the music isn't too loud. Staff were friendly and helpful. Menu changes frequently (at times quicker than that shown on the website) and includes in-season options. We ordered two main dishes and they were more than sufficient in size and were delicious. Another option is to order many appetizers so maybe we will try that next time. Overall, an enjoyable evening at an appropriate price.

Maybe the best restaurant of Calgary; certainly the most interesting. Unusual menu items and we loved them all. Freshly prepared veggies and fresh fish. We loved being inside a former milk factory, now a center of special meals in the city. I do not go to Calgary without at least one meal here.

Excellent experience all round, eclectic but delicious menu with the service and drinks to back it up. Will be back again soon.
