Jusbubble Cafe - Calgary

Had some bubble tea and braised pork bowl. The bubble tea was decent. However, the braised pork was so awful I got up and left after having 3 bites. 10/10 would not recommend to anyone. Food here is trash. I could hear the staff microwaving the food.

No public washroom. I ordered a bubble waffle with ice cream, strawberries and cheesecake topping. The strawberries were frozen. They added sprinkles and gummy bears -no complains there. It didn’t look like the models they had out. Took around 10-15 mins for it to be made, which was expected.

This was the most overpriced, disappointing dessert I've had in a long time. There are sample bubble waffles displayed on the counter. There are pictures of them on the menu, but what came out of the kitchen looked like some kind of regurgitation... that was $15!!!!!It's 100% bait and switch.... at least the waffle was hot. It is a bit over sweet, especially when it's topped with so many sweet things already.Nothing in this pile comes close to a degree of freshness (besides the waffle), so I have no idea how this is $15 ... not recommended. I noticed No Name brands labeled boxes in the kitchen, so I'm pretty sure quality isn't the focus. Go get a nice glass of wine instead it's the same price ?‍?Service was ok not great, not bad not memorable.The place has seating with clean tables. The wall decor is uneven ? obviously placed with minimal thought. Soda is available in the massive FOH fridge (mostly empty, maybe used for takeout orders), but no water.

My fiance and I went here for bubble tea and first of all:-Your staff NEEDS to be aware of food allergens, the lady could not understand the difference between gluten and lactose.-The bubble teas were warm and wattery; gross.-Very skimpy on bobaEven if the bubble tea is gluten free like she claimed (though, she was saying yes but it didn't seem like she was super confident in her answer) I got sick for a week after.Allergies should not be taken lightly, and your staff should have enough education to know if your tea is gluten free/no cross contamination.
