And we went early to have dinner before the music started, and let me tell you, this is one of the few places I have been out to eat in Calgary, where I don’t feel the menu prices have been increased to the point of near ridiculousness. I had the braised beef short ribs, and they were so yummy. Our server boggled our minds with how great his memory was and his attentiveness. We were a table of eight and did not want for anything despite this place being sold out for the band. Highly recommend as a solid fun night out.

I had the Mushroom Risotto. It was Mouthwatering-ly to-die-for! Seasoned to perfection. I was not expecting that level of dining at a bar. Highly recommended ?

My first time visiting the Ironwood was such a treat. The staff were great, the owner is super funny and awesome. The live music was terrific, too.

Outstanding venue for live entertainment! The servers are the best we have seen fast and on point! Ironwood is very clean and we felt safe parking and at all times in the venue. Free parking outside after 6pm on the street just arrive early for parking and enjoy a nice dinner. Recommend the jambalaya and the steak sandwich. Fries and spinach dip were excellent. Great drink menu and the service was over the top. So important to support live music. Reservation’s recommended.

This was worth the round trip.While exploring the city earlier in the day I saw the signs for the live entertainment on their door.Curiously I asked some of the local shop keepers. They stated that not only was the entertainment worth it but the food was amazing and they were right.I had the soup of the day, Creamy Carrot Basil. Surprisingly amazing! The burger was spot on perfect even down to the perfectly toasted bun!!!If I could rate this place a 10 I would.I also arrived just in time to hear the headliners warming up! How fun!!!
