Catch Dining Room Upstairs - Calgary

My wife, son and I visited here for a break of routine on a week night. The streets were busy, but not in the restaurant. Too bad for them but great for us. Service was quiet, but attentive. Menu is short but with a reasonable variety. The wine list is also short.Food arrived quite quickly. I had seared scallops on a vegetable bed with clam sauce; excellent. My wife raved about the tuna tartare, beautiful presentation and superb flavors.Our son saved himself" for the lobster, and was exceptionally pleased with the presentation and the food: almost "best ever".Not a place for mobility challenged, up several flights of stairs, and down even further for washroom facilities. But for us, a great evening, pleasant conversation in a quiet place with excellent food.

Great seafood & fish! Always return to Catch when I'm in town. Service was a bit slow but friendly. Wine & beer list was average (downstairs)

The food at the Catch Dining Room Upstairs was excellent. Our table enjoyed the scallops and crab appetizers and then we all had Halibut or Tuna for dinner. The fish was very fresh and prepared perfectly. There was only one server upstairs so it was a little slow, but it wasn't his fault as they were obviously a person down for the night.

I had a wonderful 20th year Anniversary. Everything was perfect. The management did a wonderful job! Champagne was excellent. Pea soup exquisite, oysters fantastic, and the tuna was delicious for entrees. Naked Lobster was very good! The cake for dessert with pistachios was well liked. My cappuccino was very good. I continue to see why catch is one of the best restaurants in Calgary. The food, service, presentation and taste continues to be of the caliber of many good restaurants that I have visited in the world. This is why I continue to return to Catch since its opening.The restaurant made my 20th wedding anniversary great!!

Pricey BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY. Nice ambiance. Friendly and accommodating staff. Limited but exceptional and unique offerings. Each dish was beautifully presented and very flavorful. Would recommend a broader selection of wines by the glass.
