Came on a Saturday and it was busyFirst recommendation is make a reservation on the weekendsWe ended up sitting at the bar which suited us fine.
My daughter and I had heard that this restaurant has great food and a wonderful view of Vancouver and it definitely was true on both counts. The wedge salad was a wonderful mix of sweet and salty, the prawn cocktail was perfectly done with a spicy dipping sauce and the served bread was warm and delicious. The service from all people working there was professional and accommodating. The view of the city was beautiful. I will make this restaurant a "must do" on my next visit.
I phoned and asked for a window seat as had relatives arriving from New Zealand. I was happy to see we were accommodated. Fantastic views, not noisy like a lot of restaurants and reasonable valet parking. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive.
We had a late lunch at Scopa on a Tuesday during Stampede week. The place was very quiet and is was pleasant to have the patio all to ourselves. The service was attentive, although I don't remember the waitresses name. We had bruschetta to share, 2 salads with shrimp, which were sizable for its price and 2 risottos. The risotto was extremely filling. The consistency was a bit on the runny side but the taste was superb. For dessert we shared a set of cannoli. The whipped nutella ricotta is sinful and melted in your mouth like ice. It was my first time at Scopa and overall the restaurant did not disappoint. We had a very good experience.
