Train Diner - Caldwell

I love breakfast any time of day. Train Diner is a new fav. Food was hot and delicious with generous portions.

The food is good. But the service is less than par. They dropped my food at the front counter of my job without saying anything to anyone or calling me. There were also utensils with my order.

The fish and chips were crisp and really good. The Greek salad was so-so. The soup was missing. They should probably use a plastic bag instead of a paper one since the package leaked.

The Egg Salad sandwich was good. The soup that was supposed to be included was not there, though.

I went to Train Diner for the first time a few weekends. I was really impressed. I love Diner Burger. For me, the old standard is a Hamburger Deluxe with a classic hamburger neck and a thin patty. Recently, Diner has tried to get a little imagination for my pleasure, with big thick burgers, brioche rolls and toppings. These burgers are good, but they're not my favorite. Looking for a classic Diner Burger, I look forward to finally finding one in the Train Diner. The fries were also great!
