I had spinach, chicken mushroom crepes with potatoes that arrived to my table stone cold. The...waitress acted annoyed because I told her my food arrived cold. No apologies or concern. I also ordered a fruit plate that tasted like the fruit was spoiled and was horribly displayed. My husband ordered poached eggs covered in hollandaise sauce which he said was mediocre. Due to the poor customer service and low quality entrees, we will not be returning to this establishment.
We went twice for breakfast. Such amazing breakfast food. I had the pancakes. So yummy. Between the six of us we tried all different things and everyone loved their meals.
What a Joke... save yourself the disappointment. This is the first review that I 've ever done, but this place does NOT deserve your business. The waiter was only concerned with selling us drinks and when I asked for water, he brought me a bottled water....I asked for house water, and he charged me 1.25 for a glass of tap water. After a weeks worth of Mexican food I felt like Eggs Benedict, and that was a mistake, The food came out Luke warm at best, There was barely any hollandaise sauce on my eggs, so l asked for a bit more and they charged an additional 3.50 for the sauce (Probably part of their scam) The waiter NEVER checked with us to see if everything was ok, and when I was out of water, I asked for a refill and a snotty waitress filled my glass with room temperature water out of some nasty plastic pitcher. We visited on a Sunday morning and it was not busy at all, just poor service from lousy employees. Definitely a big fat disappointment
We walked to this place from the cruise port it's on Calle Hidalgo. In Mexico, obviously, but not what Americans would think of as a typical Mexican restaurant. We were a little earlier than usual lunch time and a good number of people (but...not a crowd) were still enjoying breakfast. The French Toast was described in detail on a sign on the wall...OMG! But we were there for lunch. The Posole (soup with pork and hominy) was very good, as was the salad with avocado and shrimp. The staff was cheerful, efficient and very helpful. They cheerfully made requested adjustments to make my lunch gluten free.
We love this place to breakfast! on our trip this time we went to breakfast twice. you eat is delicious and the service is also great. I will normally get an egg plate and my brother loves the filled French toast. the coconut orange just is a must in this restaurant. If you want to make a cocktail of it, it's going very well. we will continue to come back as this is always great!
