Yes, there was a wait but for a small town it was better than Pizza Hut. WAS. I finally got to visit the new location today and while I was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful new location the pizza was garbage. I ordered a large cheese pizza and was told it 'd be about 20 minutes (faster than the previous owners). I arrived and my pizza was ready but the cheese was almost translucent and the crust didn 't seem crispy so I asked for it to be put in the oven longer. The owner went back and asked for it be cooked until crispy . Before getting home I noticed the size of the box was WAY smaller. When I called, the new owners said their sizes are now, Small 9 Medium 12 Large 14 AT THE SAME PRICE as before. Huge rip off. The owner offered to make a free Small but I had reservations about driving back for a pizza that didn 't look appealing BUT, had to try. I got home and tried a small slice with my family, it was garbage! The crust is thin and soggy it just falls when you pick it up, no density and the cheese doesn 't golden. I drove back and returned the pizza for a store bought DiGiorno pizza WAY better.
The food here is amazing! We've tried a few different things and all have been delicious! This isn't the place to go if you're in a hurry, as they have an extended wait time on food, but your food will be made fresh and definitely worth the wait!
We have NEVER actually eaten at this place...seems they just can't get their act together. Always a problem, out of this, something broken or the stars aren't lined up right! We have tried 7 or 8 times in last 8 months. Last visit owner said an hour wait but very few people on store. Dinning room small and very, very dark. Not a friendly place.
We visited their new location and picked up a large pepperoni pizza and cheese sticks. We wanted wings as well but they were out. I can't comment on the inside, my husband ran in while I stayed in the car with the kids. He said he chatted with the owner who was very nice. The wait wasn't long, about 25 minutes. The food was really good. It was flavorful and definitely tasted homemade. The price was awesome too, $18 total for a big pizza and cheese sticks isn't bad. Even compared to chain pizza places. I do wish the crust was a tad thinner but that's just personal preference. The sauce was really flavorful as well. We will definitely be back next time we want pizza.
This is the best eating establishment in Burnsville and great prices. You will be very pleased. The sandwiches (Philly- yum! Yum! are my favorite, and they also have good wings and best pizza around. They are family oriented and great people. I have read some people complain about the time it takes, well the good news is that they just moved into a new location (old Mary Jane's place , but the reason sometimes is that they are so freaking busy. The reason why they are busy? You guessed it, because they are so good.
