Ayam Chef - Burns Lake

This specialist Malaysian restaurant has an extensive range of regional dishes to satisfy all tastes. The food is not overly spiced and can be modified or intensified to order. Service is efficient and thoughtful and regulars are warmly greeted. The restaurant is a welcome feature for the locals of Southbank Village and surrounding high rise buildings.

Been here a few times now. Food doesn't fail for casual share meals. Always visit with friends and grab a few different entrees then main meals and share. Trusted to please. Menu doesn't change much so learnt what we do and don't like read menu well before ordering and enjoy. Staff are quick so make sure you finish your drink before they take it away

Excellent food and amazing service. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Good size dishes and presented well. Empty dishes cleared away promptly without intrusion. Would recommend to everyone.

But mostly we are happy.We have always paid cash so not sure if they take credit cards. They do quite a bit of take aways too.All wait staff are Asian females.

This relatively new restaurant is not only great value but every dish we have tried so far is a real winner. The fare is Asian with a focus on Malaysian. The setting is simple and pragmatic and completely unpretentious and relaxed. Sometimes when it gets full it can be a little noisy, but it's still a great place for a quick, tasty and great value meal.
