Well, one day I decided on trying Chettinad Dosa Palace in Burnaby, near the Safari Snack House. I dropped by around noon on a weekday in late October and it was rather quiet although some other diners started to arrive a little later.
I had a chance to stop by here the other day and when it come to food, I am very picky. I love Indian cuisine and thought to try this place out, as I have heard about it a lot by some of my friends. Well, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly waiter by the name of Dylan. He saw me to my seat and was very patient as I like to take my time with the menu. When the food arrived I was not disappointed. The portion sizes were great, I didn't have to ask for any refills and their mango Lassi was on point to say the least. I recommend this place and look forward to making this place as a regular spot.
I went there with my friends and we tried fish pakoras and masala dosa. The food was ok and service was good. But i guess they should add more flavors and even the service can be better too.
I remember getting really good dosas here in the past, but the Mysore masala and masala dosas my friend and I ordered were disappointing. The dosa outsides were good, but the stuffing was very bland and made me wish I hadn't come!
Long wait but.... EXCELLENT FOOD and FRIENDLY service!!! Ordered chicken biryani, vegetarian onion dosa, and their creamy, tasty, and delicious butter chicken. Would definitely come back again.
