Wrong! It's widely available. In fact, the LCBO was a two minute drive from there and they have tons!* they claimed to be closed at 8:50 pm when a table tried to come in, but also claim to be a lounge with bar food* flies of all sizes everywhere swarming us as we sat * sub-par food, bony undercooked sweet potato fries - a tiny offering for $7* no adjustment made to bill even though server was mortified by their failings * a manager who stroked his belly while watching tv and did nothing helpful and did not greet tables In conclusion it feels like they are desperately trying to go bankrupt and dragging the poor server along for the awkward ride
Food was ok; service was good. It's not a fancy place but not supposed to be. Lots to choose from on the menu. I had fish & chips - they were a bit greasy but overall not too bad.
We went several times to their Calgary restaurant, quite satisfied with their food and service. We saw there was one in Burlington and decided to go for breakfast. We were very disappointed with the service and their food. Coffee was so bad.Food looked like 'yesterday's leftover'.Not sure what happened. May be bad management ???
I ordered fish and chips. The waitress brought it to my table a few minutes after ordering and said "The cook saw you come in and recognized you and knew you were going to order this." This was before I said anything in regards to how fast my order came. I explained to her that this was my first time ever being in this restaurant. She asked if I was sure. Uh, yes, I'm sure. The fish wasn't very hot and had obviously been sitting around. The batter was dried out. I asked her to cook me up a fresh one. I also told her I suspected it was re-heated. She returned with an extar piece of fish and appologized. Too late. Don't serve me food that's old enough to vote. I won't be going back here.
We have been there several times, possibly ten or twelve visits. Clearly the franchisees have no idea how to run a restaurant. The food is average the service is mediocre. There is a serious problem with consistency. It does not matter how many times you order something, it never, ever, arrives looking or tasting the same. And the drinks from the bar????? Well please do not get me started. First, they need to have a qualified field bartender at each shift that also serves food unless the restaurant is so busy that his drinkorderskeep him busy. Right now each server is responsible for mixing drinks for the tables they are serving. My mixed drinks have ranged from okay to absolutely terrible.....gotta'send it back, cannot drink it. Kind of sad really. A little bit of experienced management could turn this place around in acouple of weeks. I hope the franchisees have plenty of money. Otherwise this venture is going to send them to the poor house. We will definitely NOT return.
