Wonderful food with a wonderful chef. Had the life of Riley and was astounded, the meat was perfectly cooked and beautifully tender with a truely unique balsamic ketchup that took me and my pallet by surprise.
This place is, in a word, fantastic. I went here for lunch recently and thought I'd died and gone to heaven. I got the Big D Brisket and knew I was eating perfection on the first bite. These kinds of sandwiches can very easily miss the mark if everything isn't balanced but all the toppings bring something and work together harmoniously to make this sandwich delectable. This sandwich has just the right sweetness from the BBQ sauce (homemade? , a little heat from the (house made? jalepanos, throw in some Cole slaw that's less sweet than usual and of course the brisket which was bbqed to perfection with the fat perfectly rendered. This comes together perfectly in every bite and made me want to slow down and enjoy and savor each bite. The portion is huge. I only ate half of the sandwich and felt very satisfied. The service was great. They were polite and efficient. The menu is huge with sandwiches, salads, and quesadillas. You can also do any of those 3 as a build your own. The veg is looked fresh. I will say the dining area is small with the only tables being in display windows and limited outdoor seating. Overall this place is great and will definitely be coming back on the reg
I have no idea why I haven 't been to Griddle and Greens more often! I blame my husband...that 's usually a safe bet. : Regardless of why, I 'm so happy to have rediscovered them! They 're within walking distance to us and they have tons of fresh options. They also have melts and several other hot item categories...there 's something for everyone. Their menu allows you to 'Build Your Own ' salads, wraps and melts. They also offer many signature creations. There is more than enough to chose from...and although the choices may feel overwhelming at first, I think the extensive menu works well for a casual takeout lunch spot. I chose the Tunacious D signature salad for $9.95; which is even lower than the price of salads at our corner store...and the ingredients were far fresher and more generous! It included romaine, a scoop of tuna salad, tomatoes, pickled jalapenos and shaved parmesan with house made ranch dressing. It sounded like a really unique, clever and delicious combination of ingredients; and it was! My salad experience gave me enough confidence in Griddle and Greens that I will be returning very soon, and probably very frequently. With all the interesting signature menu items and possible customizations, I could eat here everyday and not get tired of it for a long time! I love this place and I want to move in upstairs so that I 'm even closer. Thank you for being so great, Griddle and Greens!
Decided to order breakfast in on this particular Sunday. So I flipped through Uber eats to see what was available and I came across this location. I checked out the breakfast sandwich menu and it seemed to be a good fit; having a variety of ham centric sandwiches with fried eggs, and also French toast for those wanting sweeter fare. I ordered the da boot sandwich which was a fried egg with provolone and Capicola, and truth be told I added tomato to my sandwich when it arrived. For my roommate, I ordered the pumpkin spice French toast (never too soon for PS) and for myself I also ordered a slice of Bundt cake. In addition, I ordered some potato salad for later on. The food did not disappoint. The sandwich was hot and delicious; the French toast was very yummy, as was the Bundt cake. At the moment I have yet to try the potato salad, but it does look appetizing. If I do not write anything additional you can assume that the potato salad was delicious as well. I highly recommend trying this restaurant out.
