The Los Tortugos is the best Mexican food I have had! Cheesy, rice with shrimp and chicken. Service in always friendly and cheerful. The decor and ambiance is well thought out. They may need to expand. Growth is good!

Their food will make you sick. I heard this before eating there but figured what are the chances I'll get sick, well pretty darn good it turns out. Half way home and the race was on. We made it home before I ruined the interior of my nephews Escalade. I called them and the Spanish speaking fellow acted as though he couldn't understand what my complaint was. He eventually told me to call back when management was there. I offered my number but he said manager won't bother to call me back and that I needed to call them , which I did. Manager said it wasn't his concern and to feel free to express myself online Diago is not a good representative of business, read other reviews that he's mentioned in, not a good look diago!

Without a doubt, the best Mexican food in town! The service is excellent, and the staff are all friendly. The decor and artwork are really neat, and the bar looks beautiful.

Whenever I visit towns outside the metro area, I always seek out a new local eatery instead of a chain. Before a hockey game in Buffalo, I decided to stop by this restaurant, and I was not disappointed. The service was excellent, and my food arrived quickly. The prices were very reasonable as well. The ambiance and the food were authentically Mexican. I opted for the a la carte chicken enchiladas because I prefer not to waste the beans and rice. To start, the complimentary chips and salsa were delicious—the salsa was fresh and flavorful, and the chips were warm. The enchiladas were great, and a fantastic bonus for those who enjoy a bit of heat is that when you request a side of jalapeños, they come diced. It's a small detail, but I definitely appreciated it over simple sliced rounds. I loaded my enchiladas with the entire cup of jalapeños and enjoyed every bite! If you find yourself in Buffalo looking for a good meal, this place is definitely worth a visit!
