The first time, as we went Saturday tonight and we did not have a reservation, one waiter told us that there were not available table. I insisted to another waiter, I told him that we were foreigner, ask him please and he placed us on a table. The second time was a week day. We arrived there 30min before open and the owner was very simpathic and she let us wait on a table while the restaurant did not open. The service on the second time was really good. The food is amazing!!!
Enjoyed a chorizo knowing we could finally eat one The empanada was good but the bife de chorizo outstanding Restaurant was full which states to its quality sober but clean
In the heart of the garment district, this Kosher meat restaurant provides excellent food at reasonable prices. Had the Osada which was a huge portion of ribs served at the table on a mini BBQ to keep the meat hot. The food was tender, not fatty and plentiful. The red wine was a little sharp to the taste - but there were others to choose from. A good sized menu of various steaks, chicken etc. You won't be disappointed at Al Galope
We went here with kosher friends after being sorely disappointed with Asian Restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, the smell of bleach was overwhelming. Then as the restaurant filled up, the noise level was so high we couldn't make conversation with each other. THEN, the toilets overflowed and there was a mini flood in the dining room !! Plus, the harried waiters were only able to provide minimally acceptable service. The grilled meat was good, but you can do far better for less money in Buenos Aires without all the negatives.
We went there with a couple of religious friends. As we are not religious ourselves we were not sure about what would happen. We arrived early (at about 20:00) and the place was still empty. Neither the neighborhood nor the place in itself are very attractive. Service was very friendly. Quality of food was great, i.e. the meat was very tender and tasty. We had a "parrillada", which is a mix of various types of beef and also local delicacies (like intestin, sweet breads, etc.). By when we left at around 21:30 the place was packed full and a bit loud.
