Casual ambience but very solid value and food! The beef cutlet is great value- generous portion enough for 1 growing teen or split between 1 adult and 1 child. The creamy udon was rich and flavorful, a great companion dish to share if you are just looking for a taste. We came on a Saturday for lunch and it was full but not overly crowded. The small parking lot in the back made it easy to park, but I would be leery of insufficient parking during dinner time. Overall, extremely good experience and will come back!
I came here right about opening time got seated right away. I've seen reviews about difficulty parking but they do have their own limited parking lot which I found overall convenient. It's a casual dining environment the night I went there was only one ajumma that was serving/running food/checkout etc. She was so incredibly efficient though I never had trouble waving her down. I ordered the beef gyukatsu and the spicy chicken creamy udon both of which were tasty! The bill for two people after tax tip was around 50 which is basically a steal nowadays for the amount of food you get.
Great food overall, I would def come back to try the other menu items. The mazemen had nice chewy udon noodles and a creamy egg to make it all come together. I did think there was a bit too much bonito flakes for my tastes. Rice balls were so excellent and huge portions, they paired really well with the beef too. The beef gyukatsu of course was the main event, and it was good quality given the price point. I do wish it would come with initially more sauces than they gave, because it's so nice to pair the meat with the wasabi and horseradish. Overall more filling than I thought it'd be, this all came out to be $30 per person and filled up 2 hungry people Service and ambiance were good as well. We came at an off time on a sunday so it's probably more hectic during evenings.
This place reminds me of Gyukatsu Motomura when my husband and I went to Japan! We definitely miss Japan so this was definitely similar to what we had in Japan! Would definitely recommend coming here!! Food here is amazing, definitely a fun and delicious experience! The service is quick and the ambiance is family friendly, would bring our friends here again! Parking is a little small!
