Hummusbar

Good spot for a quick bite with several vegetarian/vegan options available. So far I have tried Shakshuka, Falafal plate and Hummus bowl (photos). The quality is ok.

The atmosphere was nice and quiet, which is good, especially in a busy tourist street close to Deac. The staff were spoke English and hospitable. Their menu has many options for both eat and vegetarians, and the prices are decent. The food quality was ok, and the lemonade was refreshing without sugar, which was great. The only critique, was the minced meat hummus plate was nice, and it was quite a portion, so serving only one pita bread wasn't enough, and we had to buy extra separately. I am believer that food presentation must be balanced based on the item and price, and not come handicapped.

The best hummus for the price. Very nice staff and it’s nice that you can sit outside on the street. When I’m back in Budapest, I will absolutely come back.

Really good food, it was the most pleasant surprise ! We had the menu for 2 and we didn't manage to finish it. Maybe the only negative aspect is the smell, when we left all our clothes smelled as food.

Absolutely Fabulous!! The waitstaff all friendly and attentive in this relaxed informal setting. I had the hummus with beef and it was delicious and freshly made. The hummus was creamy and light and the sautéed beef with onions, roasted garlic and tomatoes was perfect as was the tabbouleh salad. Crisp cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, bulgar was light and refreshing. Healthy and yummy food.
