Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park

I loved this if there was a microwave, a refrigerator, a/c it would be perfect but I understand why they wouldn't have them because of risk of a fire in the middle of the woods/state park. The pool was right out the backdoor and beyond that was the lake you couldn't ask for better than that. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet, Great value

Great view of the lake. We were visiting on vacation the only reason we stayed because we were told we could rent a boat. We drove 9.5 hours for them to tell us that the marina was shut down a year ago. We called over three months ago asked them if thier was a place to rent boats they told use they had pontoons and a flat bottom that we can rent and fish off them. We wanted to leave as soon as we got thier. It's dark in the rooms smells like smoke no cell service bad wifi we should of left and found a different hotel. I talked to guy up front about it he told me come spring they will have a new boat rental and dock. I told him that dosent help me now. He told me I should come back next year it would be better.
