Sams's Southern Eatery - Brownwood

Food is overpriced if you aren't even going to get what you order.I ordered to go Friday evening. I live in Coleman. Drove home, sat down to eat, and realized the oysters were missing from my meal. (I ordered the 3 fish/3 shrimp/3 oyster combo meal).Other than missing literally 1/3 of my order, the food was decent. Service was slow, but that's to be expected on a Friday night.

Had good potential to start but a bad fried oyster ruined my dinner and night. I think they will mature and become a great spot. Good luck.Food: 1/5

We just came here for the first time and the food and service was excellent! Everything was hot and fresh and the portions were great. Will definitely be stopping here more often when I'm in the area and recommend to others. As a bonus they had cheesecake today and it had to be one of the best Ive tried. The only thing that I would recommend is to add a baby changing table in the restroom for convenience. Thanks again! Hope they get lots more business.
