I recently discovered a restaurant called La Cuisine de Tatie, which serves Mauritian cuisine. The menu perfectly captures the multicultural influences of the country. The curry at this place is to die for - the chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful, giving me goosebumps with every bite. The homemade chicken fried noodles were also a standout dish. You can enjoy a satisfying meal here for just $20.
I frequently walked past this restaurant before finally deciding to try the food. I have to say, it is the best Mauritian restaurant I have been to in this city and its surrounding areas. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience delicious new flavors.

As my husband is mauritian, we like to sample new mauritian places that open in the city. We had visited here before couples years back, the service was great but the food was not. However, under new management we agreed to try it again. I order the chicken fried noodles and my husband had boiled noodles with beef. We also ordered some gajacks (appetizers) . my husband also ordered the braised pork to go. My dish was ok. Much tastier than the first time. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal. Said it was very tasty. So we will visit there again and try a new dish. I recommend a visit
