I have been there with my wife and we ordered tacos and buritos....it tasted so bad that i throw up when before i finished 2 bits. that the only place if i remember well where i throw up after a meal in the world.Very bad tast may be old food. Will never go back to a taco bell anywhere in the world
I was born and raised in Brossard so I have been a regular customer of Plattsburgh, NY's Taco Bell in the Champlain Centre. I was of course very happy when they announced they would open a Taco Bell franchise in Brossard. However, the food menu is not the same as in the US, they are lacking most of the best stuff, and the taste itself is different. It's still a good taco and burrito place, but if you go there thinking you will get the same food as what you are used to in the USA, sorry it won't happen (for example, no chaluppas, they'll give you french fries with your combo, etc.).Over a few months, I've been there quite a few times and while service has improved a lot, it's still below what one should expect at any fast food restaurant. Service is slow as hell, but eventually you get your food and you get it warm. I think it's a management problem. By the way this is a Taco Bell/KFC combo restaurant, so you can order meals from both chains at the same counter, which is good if you are traveling with people who would rather have chicken. It is located not too far from Highway 10 and maybe 10 minutes from Road 132, and near the Mail Champlain. So overall, if you feel like Taco Bell, don't expect the US menu, and be prepared to wait. Else, it's allright. If you want to make the trip to taste Taco Bell, just drive 15 South, I87S and stop at Plattsburgh NY you'll get the real deal.
KFC in Canada are pretty bad when compared to the U.S original. This one is the worst of the bunch. Its a KFC/Taco bell and the rest of my party had mostly Taco Bell. Except for some Mac salad, gravy and popcorn chicken that was all ok. My meal however was horrible. I was very hungry so I ordered myself the 4 piece meal. This was take out so I only looked at the meal when I got home. In the big box for my meal I saw 4 of the smallest pieces of chicken ever. 2 legs and 2 thighs. Not even 1 piece of white meat (the picture of the meal on the board clearly shows a mix of pieces). There is more real chicken in a McDonalds McChicken burger then was in my 4 piece box. The coleslaw salad was inedible and I threw it out. When I saw my order get put into the take out bag I noticed that there was no BBQ sauce (that I had asked for). In they end I had to ask 3 times for the BBQ sauce. This is not the Kentucky Fried Chicken I grew up with. This is a sad replica. If you really want some KFC go south of the border and hit up one of the US versions of the franchise.
Few customers at the counter and despite all the chicken was warm and the fries very cold, very disappointing as meals. I'd hesitate to go back to it again.
