They also charged me for baklava that they never put in the bag. The staff was rude on the phone when I called to complain.
I think it all comes down to whether you have ever eaten a high quality shawarma before! Maybe for that area, it is considered good, but honestly, nothing special. I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with babaganush (extra $1.50 for babaganush) and the babaganush was terrible! The service was good and the sandwich was okay, but nothing stood out. For customers in that area, I highly recommend trying the kosher shawarma on Ave P in Brooklyn at Pita of the Corner. It may be double the price, but it will blow your mind. That's how shawarma should taste. Alternatively, try the Turkish place by Sheepshead Bay, Anatoly.
This restaurant never disappoints! The portions are large and the flavors are well-balanced.
The lunch specials at this restaurant are a fantastic choice and offer great value for the price. I opted for the chicken kefta lunch special and it included a salad, rice, and naan flatbread. It was a generous portion of food for only $11. The middle eastern cuisine served here is excellent.
This restaurant offers a wide-ranging menu with options for everyone. I ordered the mixed grill while my friends opted for the shish kebab, which was cooked perfectly. The staff was polite and efficient. Thank you!
