Oaxaca Taqueria - Brooklyn

I was staying at the Hilton nearby and arrived at this restaurant feeling very hungry after a day of traveling. The short three-minute walk was definitely worth it for the delicious enchiladas I ordered. Although I may not be a Mexican food expert, I can confidently say that this small restaurant is definitely worth checking out.

Best lunch deal in the neighborhood! And great for dinner too. Large portions, delicious food, and good value for the price. I go here pretty regularly and have never had anything less than a fabulous meal!

If you're looking for authentic tacos that will make you feel like you're dining at a local restaurant in Mexico or Central America, then this is the place for you. I highly recommend trying the soft shell tacos, which are absolutely amazing. The best way to experience a variety of flavors is to go for the 3 taco deal. My personal favorites are the chicken mole, shrimp, and Korean BBQ tacos. While the Korean BBQ taco may not be traditional, it is incredibly delicious. Make sure to add this restaurant to your food list and don't miss out on their fantastic tacos!

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant were excellent, as were the staff. However, I was disappointed to find that they did not have Oaxaca cheese, despite it being listed on the menu. This oversight frustrated me to the point where my brother had to order me vegan tacos to calm me down. While I cannot say I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, it was disappointing to not find the cheese that the place is named after.
