I was really excited when I read that they had wintermelon because I love wintermelon milk teas. I asked if they could make it since it wasn't in the milk tea section and the bobarista said that he could not. Not sure why it's not an option so I was a bit bummed and just got the wintermelon oolong tea. The tea itself was fine. I was not a fan of the boba texture. It was lumpy and not that perfect soft chewy consistency that I love. Personally would not got back.
Were here to try the mochinut ? unfortunately its not what I expected it doesn’t taste like it ? i hope it will taste better the next time we try it in another branch.
Good place in Brookline !!! Good food and good drinks !I very like it! I will be go there every week!
Walked in to try a new boba shop. The place looked clean but smelled of chemical odors, so we decided to take our order and leave. After the lady took my order we sat briefly and she was quite rude to all of the customers in the store. After she aggressively shook the cups at us to tell us our order is ready, I received my order but it was just tea without the milk or much ice. I am not great with confrontation, so i just took the order, but then decided to kindly asked then to correct the order. Instead of fixing it, she proceeded to argue with me and tell me I need to LEARN how to order milk tea. That's a new one for me since I've grown up with milk tea in the bay area and I'm half asian. After the needless scolding, the orders were fixed. But the whole time they must have been speaking poorly about me and giggling. I may not look like it, but I speak mandarin and cantonese. I chose to not hear what they were saying to try not to get angry. Once I got the tea from their open container of milktea that they poured in my cup, the milk tea was out of balance. Wayy too sweet, no tea flavor and the grass jelly tasted way too chemical like. Didn't even finish it. Much better service and milk tea within walking distance. hard pass.
Prices are misleading and proportions are atrocious. The drink I ordered was 1 more than what was written on the menu. The topping was also 1.25. They did not have prices written on the menu but usually coconut jelly is one of the cheapest toppings…it cost more than 7 for a medium-sized drink with one topping (they used to cost around .50; some places even give one for free). My friend got a milk tea and it was filled to the brim with ice. I asked for 75% sweetness (less sugar) and it tasted sweeter than the regular version and even the texture was syrupy. The boy at the register was also way too young. The Onezo in Allston is decent, but I’m never going to this one again.
