Ganko Ittetsu Ramen - Brookline

Such a shame, delicious ramen with absolutely no service. This might as well be a self-serve ramen spot. Even though you order upfront, they messed up our order. The website said no wait times for seating on the waitlist however when we arrived there was a 25 minute wait. Further, our waitress accidentally dumped water on our table and then just handed us napkins expecting us to clean up her mess. Tone down your turnover rate and people might enjoy the experience and not just the food.

Seriously arrogant, dismissive and not communicative staff operating like the fast food kiosk. I felt like I was mocked when I asked why I need to wait for hale an hour while seeing the open tables. The lady just smiled at me and left.Last summer my daughter was sick and in hospital asking for ramen. I came 5 min before opening, they did not want to take order and I needed some things from next door CVS. When I came back there were a many people and they placed me in the line knowing I am running to a hospital.Seriously unempathetic set of people work there and almost always ruin the vibe of enjoying ramen that is good enough for me. You 'll get receipt 10 min after you start eating and you feel you need to go asap, given the attitude of the waitresses.Place is very small and if at the 'bar ' you will likely be touching people you do not know due to packed space.

There have been changes to this restaurant. It's very unclear what's going on. There is no wait list anymore, and now they're using TOAST app to reserve. They are opening a second location in Braintree. This locations raman tastes different now. It tastes like the portions of flavor are different, or measured differently. It's still good, but it definitely tastes like the kitchen changes somehow.
