Przekaż informację zwrotnąI had a very disappointing experience at maggie mcfly in brookfield. the remodel is beautiful and the service was good, but the meal was very disappointing. I ordered scallop tacos that should be served with chili sauce and speck. the tortillas were not warmed, the scallops were carved in chili sauce, so it is impossible to taste the scallop, and, instead of speck, there was uncooked meat, which looked like ham up. to add insult to injury, they have accused additional $2.99 per taco because they were “special” tacos. the charge was listed in the menu in small fonts. this brought the price of my meal to a floating $27. for 3 tacos who were not so advertised. I came to the restaurant to express my disappointment after I was a long time customer, and I have no answer. of course this restaurant was taken by my list!
Noah was our server and he was awesome. Very attentive, friendly, and checked on us just the right amount. Drinks and food were both timely, and honestly came quicker than I expected. We started with the mozzarella and meatballs which were delicious, then I had the NY Strip. I was very surprised at how good it was. At most restaurants, when I order medium rare, it comes just slightly overcooked. Not enough to complain, but enough that I'm not 100% happy. This steak was done perfectly. I also had a few Old Fashioneds and was pleasantly surprised at their whiskey selectionLastly, while busy on a Friday night, we were seated right away. The atmosphere was upbeat and populated without being crowded. I definitely enjoyed the experience and will be going back
Our first time visiting and we were blown away. Everything was delicious and our server Noah was spectacular. Can’t wait to come back!Do yourself a favor and order the Appetizer Tower so yummy and perfectly sized to share!
I have to say that we love the look and feel of the restaurant since the remodel. The bar area is so much nicer than the old format and love the increase in TVs especially during the sports season. Unfortunately if you don’t find a way to provide better service at the bar, you will have wasted a great deal of money. We were there last to have dinner and some drinks. When we sat down the bar top was filthy and the bartender was oblivious to this fact and never cleaned it on his own. We ordered our drinks and shortly there after an appetizer. The runner dropped our appetizer off maybe 5 minutes later. Unfortunately the bartender had disappeared and left us with no napkins or silverware. After sitting and looking around for about 5 minutes I resorted to grabbing some off a nearby table. I also waited another 10 minutes with an empty drink while other servers walked around behind the bar more concerned with their own conversations. We decided to cash out and leave at that point and eat somewhere else. Sadly this is the 3rd time in a row I’ve had poor service there and simply went for the normally good food and large menu. Last night will be the last time I will be going there because the service turned out exactly the way I expected.
Maggie McFly's is by far my favorite restaurant. The menu selection has something for everyone, American Cuisine to bar food, nice steaks, seafood, Asian inspired dishes, BBQ, etc. What makes this place differentfrom other eateries, that may have similar selections, is the incredible consistency, I have never had a bad meal here. This may not be a Michelin rated restaurant, but I'll take consistency over top notch fancy dishes any day.Our server Jake C. made our visit all that more special, he was extremely professional, courteous, quick, funny, and made our lunch out all the more special. On this visit we had the potato skins, which were awesome, not over cooked, still tasted like potatoes (some places fry them so bad they taste like old burnt oil) The cheese was melted just right and and the bacon was perfectly crispy. My mother had the burger salad, which I have had many times before and it's ALWAYS good. I had the pulled pork sandwich on a cheese bun, it was fantastic!I have one suggestion, I ended up taking some of the pulled pork and coleslaw that fell out of my sandwich and put it on a potato skin, that is one of the tastiest things I have ever eaten, you might want to make that a menu option. The renovation that they completed last year is outstanding. It use to feel like we were in a dark cave, and there was no real interest. The whole aviation theme and extra lighting was a smart move.
