Prescott's was recommended to me by a friend and I took my friend here for her birthday dinner. The outside of the restaurant doesn't look like much, but don't let that fool you. The servers were the best I've ever had (Jessie! , I imagine this is whatit would be like at a fine dining establishment in a large city. Our server was so professional and explained each dish withdetail. We started with the flaky puff pastry camembert with lingonberry and baugette, perfect. We both had the fettuccine withsherry cream sauce, shallot, and stuffed mushrooms. The mushrooms were huge, portion was big, flavor was out of this world. Eventhe side salad was incredible- dressed in layers, lots of crunchy bits and veggies, expertly done. They clearly have incrediblechefs and owners. The server boxed our leftovers for us and each takeout bag had a farewell saying handwritten on it. Myexperience was so good I will absolutely recommended Prescott's to everyone based on my one visit on a Thursday night.
Farm fresh, creative food at reasonable price! They grow much of their own produce nearby even the planters outside the restaurant are full of herbs for use in their recipes! Initially we were put off by the decor but afterseeing the menu we grewto like the strangely spartan ambience. The menu is deeply simple. Interesting selections to ponder plus the chalk board hasanother layer of interesting choices. Deciding what to order is difficult because there are so many cool things to choose. I wasstuck between the butternut squash and sage gnocchi and the Mahi Mahi kebabs. With our waitress Jessica's help I chose thekebabs she pointed out the gnocchi were a standard menu item while the fish kebabs were temporary. I wasn't disappointed!
Fantastic experience. The food is fresh, delicious, great presentation, and an overall good environment. The outside made me question going in initially, but I'm glad I ignored it. The prices were a little on the higher side, but the quality of food anddrink outweighed that. I travel the country and am in a new city every week, what I paid here is exactly what I would have paidin a place like New York, and I can honestly say that the quality here was better than most $100 a plate places. I candefinitely say the service was better, thank you Emily. You were very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. If I'm ever back inthe area, I will be coming back here for sure.
WOW!!!! This is the best meal and service we have ever had. Food was brought quickly. Server was attentive and polite; knew the menu well. We got the bread basket to start. The bread was fresh and delicious. The house and pear salads were fresh and crisp.Homemade dressings were delightful. Moving onto the main course. I had the ribeye with fresh broccoli. Wife had scallops andfresh broccoli. I have had many ribeyes in my days, this ribeye was tender, juicy and well seasoned. The bacon butter was afabulous pearing. Scallops were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. You could taste the freshness. Broccoli was fresh andcrisp cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!
