Their private dining rooms are the best thing about this place. If you’re looking for an affordable place that has a touch of home for you and your friends this is it. Perfect on Sundays because of their buffets. The staff is really friendly too.
Went here for my husband's birthday last night. Loved it. They had a very nice local craft beer which I loved and the food was absolutely amazing. It's not often when you go to a restaurant and there's too much food for the plate, real value for your money!!! I love the fact that they have such a lot of space in the smoking section and that it's under cover but still open. The only downside was I asked for something special to be done for my husband's birthday when I made the booking and I think this was forgotten slightly, but other than that, amazing place. Will go there again.
Very pleasant wide open veranda to sit and enjoy a meal. The inside I found to be a bit cramped and claustrophobic and it could all do with a bit of a revamp. Cigarette holes in the table cloth really?<br/ <br/ However the lamb shank we had was fantastic. Shank served in a bowl of rich and tasty gravy, and the chips crispy. My lunch partner had the lamb shank with vegetables and was suitably impressed.<br/ <br/ As a pub venue exactly what it is supposed to be, bit could be better with a make over and some new furnishings.
Don't expect to be wowed, told the specials or a fine dining experience. However do expect cold beer, lovely pub food and a hint of live music who sounds like they've been drinking too.
