Scrambled eggs on toast was delicious! Shout out the Caribbean gentleman in the kitchen!

The cook was super helpful when I was asking about the touristy sides of things in Brooklyn. I ordered a chocolate filled croissant but it wasn’t that great. Didn’t have much time to try anything else but for my first impression it wasn’t as good as I hoped it would be

Avoid this place. This (see picture is what I got for $28 and change spent: a mediocre cold brew with not enough ice (if you read the reviews below, they are counting the ice cubes now apparently! and a tiny overly salty sandwich with absolutely nothing special or distinctive about it. We all know eggs are more expensive now etc etc, for $28 you’d think you could get a tomato slice or hell even a little side salad with your tiny breakfast sandwich. Nope. At least at a place like Russ Daughters you walk out feeling happy you spent $50 on breakfast. Corner deli quality for Michelin Star prices. Not sure how this place remains open. The saddest part is how the workers know what a scam it is and yet they have to smile as they rob you blind. My waitress literally avoided looking at me as she set the pitiful plate on my table.

Racist and rude. Please avoid this place at all cost.

Great food and I've always loved the place but can at all be done about the crazy amount of BEES outside? I mean I know are good for the environment BUT the entire time I was eating my food, I was terrified it's gonna fly into my mouth
