Lamalo - Broad Channel

Very average and pricey Mediterranean food. The back room of this noisy restaurant looks like a cold canteen and has a weird luminosity that makes you feel nauseous. Don’t even bother trying.

Pretty good. The spreads are pretty fresh and tasty and so are the skewers. Not too pricey either. I recommend not going with the price fixed option because it just doesn’t make sense in the end.

Thinking of this restaurant today. Giving it 5 stars because the food was fantastic, the people are so nice, and the food is simple and oh so good. The $35/pp unlimited laffa bread and spreads deal is the best deal you can have with this restaurant. The motto of the evening: “spread it and forget it”. Delicious unlimited spreads bread. The pickled vegetables (specifically the turnip) and the garlic bread were standouts to me.
