Kai Ramen Sherman Oaks - Broad Channel

I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen. The broth was so lovely, pretty salty and delightfully aromatic with the smell of toasted garlic. The mild spicy level is absolutely perfect just to have the flavor without the burn (about as spicy as a hot cheeto or a little less). The bamboo smells quite strong. I also didnt know that this one came with an egg, which was a happy surprise for me as I almost opted in to add one (which I did not). The noodles are thick, lightly crinkled, and have a moderate amount of that al dente feel (my favorite).

My go to comfort food! I love this Black Garlic Ramen!!

Tasty ramen! The fried oysters crab wontons were crispy delicious!

Read instructions please. I asked for no brussel sprouts and they put in a whole serving. Needless to say, I had to eat that and scrounge around for food for my 8 year old daughter who had been looking forward to her Ramen with no sprouts.

Their spam musubi has way too little spam and way too much rice.
