Golden Krust Caribbean - Broad Channel

One of the best tasting food i have had in a long time out of all the Golden Krust restaurants I have ate at. Their prices are average as any other, however the quantity and quality is worth it. As you know Jersey is different from New York...i will say this, that this spot in Queens is a must eat at... They have all the nice stuff like oxtails, curry goat/chicken, fried chicken, festival, BBQ RIBS, mac n cheese, jerk chicken.... Definitely check this spot out if you ever in Queens NY. I was interested in the plant based patties. I have walked in to order and was told they are made to order to call it takes 30 mins. This has happened on 3 occasions that I call and no answer. They don't want my business. Why can't some be prepared. Not everyone wants beef of chicken. I won't try again. 3 strikes your out.

Came here craving soup I asked the lady if there was any dumplings she said yes then I asked for no meat I got nothing but meat and 0 dumplings , she basically gave me the opposite of everything I asked for then when I asked for a beef patty she kissed her teeth and gave me attitude. What's wrong with Golden Krust employees? Are they that miserable?

The restaurant is always clean, the staff is very nice as well. I always get my favorite soups which is everyone that they have on different days of the week , they are very filling tasty also seasoned very well , I also purchase a few chicken shrimp patties for my daughter I who loves them. The food service period is why I will always keep coming back to this location.

Large bread two beef patties. The patties crust were not flaky sharp but more pliable. Too long in the warmer. Bread was not the hard dough i was accustomed to. Service was good, slow but pleasant faces.
