Hands-down best falafel in all of NYC (I'm not exaggerating! . Their hummus is phenomenal, too!

Chicken shawarma is bland and dry. Falafel was decent though. The guy making my shawarma, stopped half way to go over to register and take a payment. Using the SAME pair of gloves.... Service is sub par. Staff ignores you. First and last time visiting this place.

I lived in Beirut for many years and ate this kind of food all the time, I can say without a doubt that the food at Al Aqsa is the best Levantine food in all of NYC and better than most in the Middle East. Absolutely must try the man2ousheh, falafel, foul w hummus, and shawerma — the quality of all these is truly incredible. Shukran jazeelan al aqsa!
