Cosies - Bristol, City of

I absolutely adore Cosies, it's a fantastic little venue. The manager is amazing, and the events they host have a wide variety. I've been a loyal customer for years. The security team is friendly and fair, and the other bar staff are also wonderful.

The staff were very impolite and I believe I witnessed one of the female staff members exchanging drugs with someone in a car outside, but that's not my concern. The atmosphere was strange, so I would recommend avoiding this place. It's a pity because they have some good dancehall nights, but I wouldn't revisit.

The restaurant has a lively atmosphere with a welcoming community feel. However, it should be noted that there are a lot of older men looking to meet young student girls.

A place where is no respect by security, where customers are primary part of keeping a venue alive and a security has a responsibility of respecting their customers and keeping them safe and making their experience fun, rather, this place has an obvious disrespect to its customers. There are holding an event for solidarity for Palestine where tickets go as donations to support Gaza but instead disrespecting probably the only me Palestinian-Gazan that was there. Disgusting and despicable behaviour and attitude towards people. Never back again. Update regarding their reply: The place was packed with over 100 people and obvious no SPACE for anyone even in the smoking area, entrance was blocked by multiple people but I WAS THE ONLY ONE SHOUTED AT with DISRESPECT. It’s AGAINST THE LAW TO HAVE OVER 100 people in a venue where is only one EMERGENCY EXIST. EXPECT COUNCIL REPORT SOON.
