These guys are just down the road, so they're an easy choice for takeaway. The reason I keep going back though is that their food is consistently great. The seafood is cooked fresh and isn't oily at all. The portion sizes are good value for money. The Indian food offerings are excellent too. The area has a lot of choices for Indian cuisine but this place is right at the top when it comes to quality. Again, good portions, great tasting and easy to get in and out and on my way.
I have been meaning to write this review for some time now. Around a month ago, I waited outside for about half an hour for this restaurant to open. Once it finally opened at around 3:00pm, I ordered a mild goat curry. I waited until I got home to try it, and I must say it was the best curry I have had in a very long time. The flavors were fresh and complex, showing a perfect balance of spices and aromatics. I could tell just by looking at it, with the chopped coriander and strong aromas. The goat meat was incredibly tender and fell off the bone. The owners of the restaurant were also very friendly, which added to my positive experience. Next time I visit, I will be sure to take some photos.
I had never tried the seafood at this restaurant before, but I've had their Indian dishes a few times now and I'm so glad I did! I love spicy food and the spice level is perfect and full of flavor. The paneer saag, madras, and goat curry are delicious. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. I'm happy to have this restaurant as a local spot.
I ordered delivery of fish, chips, crumbed sausage, and a burger. It arrived 30 minutes late, but it was worth the wait. It's the best fish and chips I've found in Brisbane. Even the kids loved it. I'm looking forward to trying some of their curries next time!
