Table lay-out meant we had to pass plates and food back and forth between waitress. Other than that great experience.
Beautiful meal and ambience ruined by rushed service to get us out so another sitting could come in. Would have ordered deserts and coffee but no time. Suggested to go to the bar but they don’t serve deserts or coffee. So what could have been great was reduced to alright. Wouldn’t rush back
In this restaurant, the own efficiency is at the top of the list of priorities and customer experience and customer satisfaction at the bottom. After reservation through OpenTable, we were reported at arrival that there was only a table for limited time. Strangely when you've reserved a lot of time, but you're not going to go looking for another restaurant. The blow to the fire arrow, however, came after the main dish, when the waiter gave us death, that he wouldn't give us the dessert card because there wouldn't be time for that. Now we didn't want dessert, but we were fooled by such rude announcement and collision. When we left, the table was next to us, that the whole time had been untouched... Speaking of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
All the items of a fancy bar and grill are on paper but the food and service lack heart. The menu and ambience could be brightened up. The seafood platter was underwhelming compared to real seafood platters, steaks are nothing special, sides are cafeteria cooking. Pricey cocktails, poorly made. Servers disappear before your meal is done. The only thing it had was a good wine list. For us who came for the ambience from away, and were wished a wonderful experience, they put us in a corner where the amazing view of the river and bridge were seen only on the way to the washroom; give those to the locals if you want to bring in new business! Overall a bland and disappointing experience that cost us $500.
